Terminal Services Gateway allows staff, and
home workers to easily access the office/school
computer system with no firewall configuration.
An easy to use web-based system allows you to
customize who has access and to what computers,
with a few easy clicks.
As a system administrator, you probably know how
much hassle it is to get just one port exposed
to the internet, and the security risk that this
imposes. Terminal Services Gateway negates all
that, by establishing an outbound
connection to one of our servers. This prevents
many firewalls from filtering the connection, as
it appears as a normal TCP/IP connection to port
80.
Terminal Services Gateway uses the standard
remote desktop protocol as included by Windows
XP Professional and above, and therefore
includes all of the security benefits that this
protocol instates.
