Friction is a remote booking system which is
ideal for use by organisations, businesses and
educational establishments where there is a need
to book equipment, rooms, vehicles etc.
This server-side software enables your
employees to make in-house resource bookings
from any internet computer in the world, 24/7.
No more finding the "Equipment Bookings Diary"
or person responsible for keeping it! No more
turning up at a room thinking you had booked it,
only to find another person laying claim to it!
Each User, set up by your Resource
Administrator, may book resources from any
computer with internet access.
Bookings are done in real-time - as soon as
it is booked on your computer, the database on
our server is updated so other users can see
almost instantly any changes made. All your
Users can access the on-line database at the
same time.
Bookings can be prioritised by the person
making the booking, so that it states whether it
is an essential or non-essential need.
Non-essential bookings may be over-booked, if a
more urgent need arises.
Resources may be booked by custom or pre-set
time slots/periods or by days. Reoccurring
bookings may also be entered.
There is a facility to print out a weekly
bookings sheet for each resource.
